Data Deletion
Any SutraOS user — brand, agency, or creator — can ask us to delete the personal data associated with their account. Here’s how, and what to expect.
1. How to request deletion
Email privacy@sutraos.com (or hello@sutraos.com) from the address on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email associated with your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing, to protect against unauthorised deletion.
2. What gets deleted
On a verified request we delete or de-identify the personal data associated with your account — for creators this includes profile information, connected-account tokens and imported analytics, and portfolio content; for brands and agencies this includes organisation profile and member data — except where we must retain certain records (see below). We action verified requests within 30 days.
3. What we may retain
Some records must be kept to meet legal, tax, accounting, and compliance obligations — for example transaction, payout, TDS/GST, and KYC/KYB records under Indian law (currently 6 years for transaction records) — and to resolve disputes or enforce agreements. We retain only what is necessary, for the period required, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
4. Connected social accounts (Google / Meta)
Creators can disconnect a connected account at any time from their SutraOS profile, which revokes our ongoing access. To request deletion of data we received from a connected platform, use the request process above. You can also review and revoke app access directly with the provider (your Google Account permissions or your Meta/Instagram app settings).
